Professional Membership

One Membership. Endless Impact

Joining WDHA means investing in yourself and your profession. Whether you’re a clinician, educator, or advocate, your membership helps shape the future of dental hygiene in Washington — while giving you the tools, connections, and support to grow.

Why Membership Matters

1. Advocacy that Protects Your Profession

WDHA and ADHA work year-round to represent dental hygienists in Olympia and Washington, D.C. — protecting your license, expanding your professional scope, and ensuring your voice is heard where it matters most.

2. Professional Growth and Continuing Education

Access high-quality CE courses, workshops, and conferences that keep you current with the latest techniques, science, and policy updates — all while earning the credits you need to stay licensed and competitive.

3. Networking and Mentorship

Join a statewide community of dental hygienists who share your goals and challenges. Build relationships, find mentors, and collaborate with peers who inspire professional excellence.

4. Leadership and Volunteer Opportunities

Serve on committees, lead local components, or represent your district. WDHA gives you the platform to make an impact beyond the operatory — shaping the future of the profession.

5. Member Resources and Support

From career guidance to legal updates and advocacy alerts, members gain access to exclusive tools and insights that help you thrive at every stage of your career.

6. Local Connection + National Strength

Your WDHA membership automatically includes ADHA membership, connecting you to a powerful national network of dental hygiene professionals working to advance the field across the U.S.

7. Community Impact

WDHA supports outreach, public health initiatives, and community education that make a difference in oral health access across Washington — your membership helps make that possible.

“Through ADHA’s strong advocacy work and growing federal presence, we’re making dental hygienists’ voices heard as vital healthcare providers and demonstrating that our profession is essential to solving America’s oral health crisis. Removing outdated practice barriers isn’t just good policy—it’s critical to healthcare infrastructure.”
